In its focus on geosynthetics, specifically geotextiles, Imagine IM is developing materials in Australia that can purify, attract, move, repel and detect water. This provides enormous benefits especially for local councils and civil engineering companies.
GeoAmericas is the meeting place for civil engineers, scientists and people in business involved in synthetic products used to stabilize and manage terrain.
GeoAmericas 2016 is hosted by North American Geosynthetics Society (NAGS) and is held under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS). Also supporting the conference is Geo-Institute (G-I). It was created by the American Society of Civil Engineers in October 1996 as one of ASCE’s specialty Institutes.
- The mission of NAGS is to advance geosynthetics education and research.
- IGS is a learned society dedicated to the scientific and engineering development of geotextiles, geomembranes, related products and associated technologies. It has 41 chapters and over 3,000 members including 163 corporate members.
- G-I is a membership organization focused on geoprofessionals and the geo-industry. It has over 11,500 individual members and 65 organizational members and is focused on geoprofessionals and the geo-industry. It was created by the American Society of Civil Engineers in October 1996 as one of ASCE’s specialty Institutes.
It’s easier to work towards the future if you go there first and come back to chart the path. GeoAmericas provides that opportunity for our focus on geotextiles.
