Imagine has been invited to pitch at Plug and Play’s Smart Cities Asia launch event. This follows on from presenting at the Smart Cities Paris Plug and Play event earlier this year, and Plug and Play Startup Autobahn and Spring Summit in 2018. Plug and Play Tech Center runs over 50 industry accelerator programs a year and is a major corporate innovation platform with over 300 partners and 200 venture capitalists in its ecosystem.

Phil Aitchison, VP R&D will present Imagine’s sensing surface technology for structural health monitoring, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Imagine’s large scale sensing surface technology is the industrial equivalent of human skin. It is extremely inexpensive to install and can provide inexpensive water leak location when integrated into building roofs, and can generate information on break ins, fire, as well as being able to monitor foot traffic, and be used in industrial settings for geofencing, asset tracking and wherever it is important to know what is happening across the whole surface. At Imagine, we believe our technology will revolutionise the way that commercial buildings are managed, how infrastructure can be made more robust, and it will enable better performance from analytics engines.

Imagine produces graphene coatings for textiles in its plant in Geelong, Victoria, and develops the electronics specifications for hardware, and the software and algorithms, in its operation in Salo, Finland.

The official launch day will be Tuesday 16th September in Bangkok and will bring together key players across industries and verticals such as Internet of Things, Mobility, Real Estate, Retail and Health, all key targets for Imagine’s technology platform.
